- What are good reasons to sell your vehicle to us?There are many reasons you might want to sell your vehicle to us:
• The vehicle has failed its MOT and is too expensive to repair

• The vehicle has been in an accident - What if there are problems with my vehicle or it has no tax, MOT or insurance?• Vehicles can develop a fault, and diagnosing and repairing faults in a vehicle can be expensive, you may consider selling the the vehicle to us instead.
• A vehicle must be taxed, MOT’d and insured unless it is sorn via the DVLA website. It cannot be parked or used on a public highway. We come to you to collect your vehicle, so you do not need to drive it or leave it on the road.
- I want to keep my personalised number plate, can I?You need to apply to the DVLA to do this. When your application has been approved you will receive a V778 Retention Document. Don’t sell or scrap your vehicle without this document.
- Are you licensed?Yes, we are licensed by The Environmental Agency.
- Do I need to be present on collection?No, we can arrange for you to leave the keys and documents with someone or in a specified place. We understand that sometimes your vehicle will not be in the same location as you.
- Do you collect out of standard work hours?Yes, as we appreciate that you may be at work we also pick up in the evenings and at weekends.
- What do I need to do before and after collection?Please clear all personal contents from your vehicle and remove any tax disc that you might wish to claim back. Complete section 9 on your logbook (V5 Document) and send it to the DVLA (we can help you with this). If you do not have the V5 then you must notify them in writing.
- Does it matter if there are parts missing from my vehicle?No, not at all, please just inform us before we come to you so we can come prepared.
- My vehicle has been standing for a long time and may be seized - is it a problem?This is a very frequent problem and does not pose a problem for our experienced team.
- Is it a problem if I have lost my keys?No, not at all, once your permission is granted for us to gain entry our experienced teams are fully equipped to gain access.
- What if I do not have a V5 (log book)?We can collect your vehicle without the logbook V5 document. It is important that you notify the DVLA letter that you have parted with your vehicle. We can help you with this.
- Do I need to notify the DVLA that I no longer own the vehicle?No, we take care of that for you (unless there is no V5 available).
- What happens once my vehicle is collected?Your vehicle will be dealt with in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Either re-sold, recycled, repaired or terminated.
- Can I claim back unused road tax?Yes, you will need to get a v14 form from the post office or you can download one from the DVLA website.
- How long before you come to collect my vehicle?We offer a rapid response service or we can accommodate a time to suit you.
- Who tells the DVLA that my vehicle has been sold?This is not something you need to worry about as if you have supplied the correct logbook for the vehicle we will notify the DVLA that your vehicle has been sold on or recycled.
